Toledo Bend Lake country - Toledo Bend Reservoir is the largest man-made lake in the south. The lake was formed by the dam across the Sabine River. The lake covers around 186,000 acres. There are boat launches and marinas here. You can hike and bike along the 12000 miles of shoreline within 9 public parks surrounding the lake. Go fishing for catfish, crappie, bream and largemouth bass.
